1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Dojournal concerning the websites, applications, and related services that link to these Terms (the “Service”). By creating an account, connecting an MT5 account, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. You must provide accurate information, keep your login methods secure, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Email/password and supported OAuth methods, such as Google, may be linked to the same Dojournal account when they use the same verified email address. Do not share authentication credentials or use another person’s identity.
3. The Service
Dojournal helps users import and review MetaTrader 5 trading history, calculate performance summaries, maintain journals, annotate trades, use community features, and request AI-assisted portfolio analysis. Features and plan limits may vary by account tier, location, platform availability, or operational capacity.
4. MT5 connections
You represent that you are authorized to access every MT5 account you connect. You authorize Dojournal to use the broker, server, login, and password information you provide solely to establish the requested connection and retrieve account and trading records for the Service.
Dojournal is a journal and analytics service. It does not place, modify, or close trades through the Service. Broker availability, MT5 connectivity, account permissions, server maintenance, and third-party changes can delay or prevent synchronization. You remain responsible for checking source records in MT5 and with your broker.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- violate law, regulation, third-party rights, broker terms, or platform rules;
- access an account or data without authorization;
- probe, disrupt, overload, bypass, or interfere with security or service limits;
- upload malware or content that is unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or infringing;
- scrape, resell, or commercially exploit the Service except with written permission;
- reverse engineer protected portions of the Service except where law does not allow that restriction; or
- misrepresent performance, impersonate others, manipulate community rankings, or abuse referral programs.
6. Your content and sharing
You retain ownership of notes, images, tags, profile information, and other content you submit. You grant Dojournal a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the user-facing Service.
You control whether supported profile and trading information is shared through public profiles, leaderboards, groups, and invitations. Content you make public may be viewed or copied by others. You are responsible for having the rights needed to submit and share your content.
7. Analytics and Portfolio AI
Dojournal provides historical journals, calculations, and educational analysis. It is not a broker, investment adviser, financial adviser, fiduciary, signal provider, or trade-execution service. Nothing in the Service is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any instrument.
Markets involve substantial risk. Historical performance does not guarantee future results. Calculations may be affected by broker records, time zones, deposits, withdrawals, missing data, platform conventions, or software errors. Portfolio AI output can be incomplete or incorrect and must not be treated as verified financial advice. Review important information against MT5 and independent professional advice before making decisions.
8. Plans and payments
Prices, plan duration, included features, taxes, and payment terms are shown before checkout. Payments may be processed by Stripe and supported local payment methods such as PromptPay. You authorize the displayed charge when you complete checkout. Unless checkout expressly states otherwise, a purchase does not automatically renew.
Paid access begins after successful payment confirmation and may be delayed while a payment is processing. Refunds, if any, are handled according to applicable law and any refund terms displayed at purchase. We may change future prices or plan features, but changes do not alter a completed charge without your agreement.
9. Third-party services
The Service interoperates with third parties, including Google, Supabase, Stripe, MetaTrader 5, brokers, market-data sources, infrastructure providers, and AI or compute providers. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Dojournal does not control and is not responsible for third-party outages, changes, data accuracy, account restrictions, or independent conduct.
10. Dojournal ownership
The Service, including its software, interface, branding, documentation, calculations, and original content, is owned by Dojournal or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership of the Service to you.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may contact support to request account deletion. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the Service, investigate suspected misuse, comply with law, address nonpayment, or enforce these Terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
12. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may maintain, update, replace, limit, or discontinue features. If a material change adversely affects a paid feature during an active paid period, we will provide any remedy required by applicable law.
13. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Dojournal disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and quiet enjoyment. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dojournal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, trading losses, lost opportunities, lost data, or business interruption arising from the Service. Dojournal does not limit liability where doing so is prohibited by law, including liability that cannot be excluded for fraud, willful misconduct, or personal injury.
15. General terms
If a provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a business reorganization or transfer of the Service. Applicable mandatory consumer law remains unaffected.
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the effective date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice when required. Continued use after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
